SAFE's circulating supply only grows through the on-chain stake subsidy. No other mechanism releases new supply after genesis. This page projects that growth using the documented genesis parameters, as if genesis happened today.

A 14.1%/year decay never fully empties the fund. Each year's distribution shrinks by that same percentage, so the yearly amounts add up to a fixed total: the annual distribution divided by the decrease rate. That total works out to 2,826,809 SAFE, which is exactly the size of the genesis fund. Because the fund matches that total, its balance keeps shrinking toward zero without reaching it, and circulating supply keeps rising toward the 36M SAFE cap without reaching that either.
At the documented 24-hour epoch length (365 epochs a year), the fund is not projected to run out within the 35 years simulated here. It keeps shrinking toward zero, and circulating supply keeps rising toward the 36M SAFE cap, without either fully getting there in that window.
